The branches spreading out Surviving...

Journey of a Dew Drop

A dew drop

Vain diamonds 

Proud and hard

Reflects our opposite world

A journey begins anew

Through twists and turns

 Thorns and hurdles

Impeded motion

A lifetime it journeys

Destination in mind

Through sheer hard will

And volition

Does it venture

Into the great unknown

 An adventure,

An expedition

It seeks

A sheer drop

And at length

Does it finally blend

Into the womb 

It was born from

Where life began

There it shall end.

Childish Longing

A childhood longing

In vain persists

Of freedom known

Once, but lost hence

Over the tides of time

A deep yearning

Of that bygone

Feeling

The stigma that yet

Hangs over us,

Paragon of all evil

Portends what we must

All become.

A foreshadow, a presage

An omen

Of impending misfortune

Surrounds us

Hope yet there still is

To gain that

Child-like simplicity

And free us

From our impending dooms

A wish that remains

Unfulfilled

Of a childish longing

In vain.

 

A Ray Of Hope

Darkness awaits
Lurking in the corners
The room seems smaller
A way to escape
Is all that I seek
It draws me nearer
It's propinquity
A false balm to my wounds
Drawing me
Calling for me
I yearn for escape
A sense of freedom
A longing yet to be fulfilled
Do i ask too much?
I ask into the void
Empty!
I take a step
Towards the corners
Stop
A voice calls out
I freeze
Should i stop?
And there!
I finally see
You have come
Only a little crack
 Light penetrates
The darkness ventures back
 I see you
That little bouncing ray of joy
Of promise
Of love
A ray Of Hope!

Applause please...yes..i know you all love me!(humour!). 
Now for inspiration...there i was this normal girl who one day had this epiphany and started a blog. Now i'm getting awards( how's that for inspiration!).

    Anna- simple yet beautiful.

Its between dying alone or getting stuck in a room full of spiders(Ugghh!!!)'

    I would like to be successful in life (boring...yawn...i know!) .

    The concept of concept is the notion or idea of forming concepts(Get it?! I don't.)

Over the years i have been bombarded with secrets from everyone. I ain't telling you (See i am good at it!).

    No favourite author as such. I have many favourite books each by a different author.

   Yeah...right now i am experiencing it.

'That's such a cliche !"

"Oh, that's such a cliche." Lately that thought has dominated my mind in everything everyone does around me. Seems to me my boring, sloth existence has led me to think about everything around me as exactly that. Cliched!!! That's how much bored I am.
I know what you are thinking. That this girl has no right to say that, and that there are a lot of things she could do to get rid of that so-called boredom. My answer - for me to get rid of it, what I need is a little motivation people! I've been lying around, leading this indolent lifestyle,a lazy existence(I'm telling you lazy does not even come close to describing it), which I might add has resulted in me viewing everything in a detached sort of way, like I am seeing everything from a neutral vantage. But it is this sort of detachment that has turned into a pricking conscience for me. Because of my neutral vantage I can see exactly how much life has lost it's meaning for me albeit it's become pointless. I haven't even written in this blog for almost a month! So today I finally forced myself to pick up a pen and paper and write.
I was completely blank, nothing, zilch, nada...
So I decided to write about the problem and tada...this is what I've come up with - my enthusiasm, motivation, inspiration or it's lack thereof.
But never fear, change is here(hey that rhymes!).
I will from now onwards work deligently if not regularly to make myself find that lost spark in life again. And that is my solemn oath!
