Yesterday, I had seen him, Mr.Khanna, our neighbor. He was sitting out on his porch. The setting sun cast and played shadows on his face revealing a tired and lined face. His desolate expression, devoid of all hope pulled at my heart. I stood there staring a moment longer and walked back in. This morning they came to collect his body. The maid had found his body hanging from the ceiling fan.

His desolate expression, devoid of all hope pulled at my heart. I stood there a moment longer and then walked across the lawn towards him. I asked him to join us for dinner. After a few silent minuted he agreed, though hesitantly.
The children loved him. He is coming over again today for lunch. He seemed happy.
