If...

2_/_/2_ _ _ _

Yesterday, I had seen him, Mr.Khanna, our neighbor. He was sitting out on his porch. The setting sun cast and played shadows on his face revealing a tired and lined face. His desolate expression, devoid of all hope pulled at my heart. I stood there staring a moment longer and walked back in. This morning they came to collect his body. The maid had found his body hanging from the ceiling fan.

Yesterday, I had seen him, Mr.Khanna, our neighbor. He was sitting out on his porch. The setting sun cast and played shadows on his face revealing a tired and lined face. His desolate expression, devoid of all hope pulled at my heart. I stood there a moment longer and then walked across the lawn towards him. I asked him to join us for dinner. After a few silent minuted he agreed,  though hesitantly.
The children loved him. He is coming over again today for lunch. He seemed happy.
